Clay Days

Service Description

Want to play with Clay? Us too! Join us for Clay Days in the studio where you can come grab clay by the pound and make your own masterpiece. Clay will be available for $10.00 pound and each additional pound of clay at $8.00 per pound, within the same sitting day. The $15.00 charge covers your studio spot, 1 piece to be fired, tools, 1st firing, glazes, & 2nd firing. (This is fee that you are paying at registration) Additional pieces that you wish to be fired will be $10.00 per item (Thank you electric company) You clay masterpiece will take about 2 - 3 weeks to fully dry and go through the 1st firing. You will then be notified that your item(s) are ready to paint, where you can come in at your leisure to add glaze(s) to your piece, where it will then go back into the kiln for 2nd firing, which should take about a week. This is NOT instructor led. Instructor is there for guidance and questions, this is completely open to create your own masterpiece. ** note items to not be more than 12 in. X 12in. without approval and must be hollowed inside. Body of clay can be 1/2 to 3/4 in. in thickness. **
