This is beginner class and will get to test your design skills with 7 pieces of stationary and 2 wooden beads or ornaments.

Class Overview

• The Science of Marbling: Learn how to prepare a marbling "bath" using water thickened with carrageenan, allowing pigments to float rather than sink.

• Techniques & Patterns: Master foundational patterns such as "stone," "get-gel" (back and forth), and "peacock" using traditional tools like combs, rakes, and styluses.

• Material Transfer: Discover how to pre-treat surfaces with a mordant (alum) and carefully dip your medium to permanently capture your design.

• Creative Freedom: Experiment with vibrant color palettes to create psychedelic or classical Turkish "Ebru" styles on various materials.
